“GAP” publishing house started its activities in 2000 and now with more than 170 titles on scientific fields and other branches such as:
1.Biology like: Epidemiology, Hygiene, Anesthesia and intensive cares (ENT).
2. Management and Psychology.
3. Banking.
4. Entrance Examinations (employment).
5. General.
is active.

Part of the book publishing is in the form of compilation and the other part is translation from the most valid works in related fields.

Compiled book ‘Epidemiological Culture’ had been chosen as the winner of Iran’s book of the year in 2012 and also, trilogy of Iran’s Common Diseases was selected as Iran’s book of the year praiseworthy book in 2015. Also, at the book festival, education family and ministry of culture received certificates of appreciation in 2007 because of “Children happy familiar with earthquake”.

In 2010 ‘Winter season’ was elected.

Close cooperation with Iran’s epidemiological community(IREA) and generally with professors and students of the related courses caused the most valid works published in Iran.

 A few titles declared officially as the reference and study sources by Iran’s ministry of health.

On the other hand, we are well- known for the bank sciences with production of applied banking book collection in the banking network and in this area have produced the bestselling books.

For translating foreign scientific books ,we try to have a direct link with foreign publishers and by protecting intellectual property rights, set a contract with those publishers.

The pronunciation of “GAP” in Persian language is synonymous with “talk” in English language.
